Brewing Method with Café Del Patio
Welcome to The Ritual of Brewing — a series that honors the craft of preparing coffee with intention. We begin with a method born right here at Hacienda Doka: the Tera 60.
Handcrafted from ceramic and designed with flow precision, the Tera 60 is our exclusive brewing tool. It highlights clarity, brightness, and the natural sweetness of the beans — making it the ideal companion for our light roast Café Del Patio, which is double sun-dried for deeper complexity.
To help you master this experience, we’ve created the Tera Ritual Set, which includes the brewer and a bag of Del Patio coffee.

Brewing Guide: How to Use the Tera 60
What you’ll need:
-
Tera 60 Ceramic Brewer
-
V60 paper filter
-
Café Del Patio (medium-fine grind)
-
Hot water (around 94°C / 200°F)
-
Timer and scale (optional)
Step-by-Step:
-
Rinse the Filter
Place the paper filter in the Tera 60 and rinse it with hot water to eliminate any paper taste and preheat the brewer. -
Add Coffee
Use 20g of Café Del Patio for 300ml of water. Adjust to taste. -
Bloom (Pre-infusion)
Pour a small amount of water (about 40ml) over the coffee to saturate all the grounds. Let it bloom for 30 seconds. -
Controlled Pouring
Slowly pour the rest of the hot water in concentric circles. Keep the stream steady and controlled to ensure even extraction. -
Total Brew Time
Aim for a total brew time of 2:30 to 3:30 minutes, depending on your grind size and pouring technique.
